Notes
Species complex. Molecular and morphological analyses by Langeneck (2017) revealed that specimens from the Mediterranean identified as Aricidea (Acmira) catherinae contain at least three pseudocryptic species which can be differentiated genetically, morphologically and on the basis of ecological characters. Type locality: Mediterranean (Banyuls-sur-Mer, France).
