Geographic Location: AK: Fort Richardson; Anchorage ( Hammer 1955a); Cape Thompson ( Watson et al. 1966); Washington Creek, about 48 km north of Fairbanks; Chugach Mtns., Blueberry Lake at Thompson Pass; Bushkana River; Denali NP; Brooks Range; Toolik Lake ( Behan-Pelletier & Norton 1983); YT: Richardson Mtns. ( Hammer 1952a); Porcupine Plain; Richardson Mtns; Ogilvie Mtns ( Behan-Pelletier 1997b); NT: Reindeer Station ( Hammer 1952a); Mackenzie Delta ( Behan 1978a).

Habitats: herb and sedge litters ( Vaccinium, Carex , Dryas ); lichens; coniferous (spruce) and deciduous (Paper birch, Alnus ) litter.

Distribution: Nearctic.
