Original name: Zygoribatula apletosa Higgins and Woolley, 1975 ( Marshall et al. 1987)
Geographic Location and Habitats: QC: Morgan Arboretum ( Marshall 1968).
Distribution: Nearctic.
Remarks: Subías (2004) considered this species a junior synonym of Lucoppia burrowsii ( Michael, 1890) , without comparing type material or giving other justification; we retain this species herein.
