Batomys dentatus Miller 1911 , Proc. U. S. Natl. Mus ., 38: 400.

Type Locality: Philippines, N Luzon Isl, Benguet, Haights-in-the-Oaks, 7000 ft (2134 m).

Vernacular Names: Large-toothed Batomys.

Distribution: Greater Luzon Faunal Region. Endemic to mountain forest on N Luzon and known only from the type locality.

Conservation: IUCN – Data Deficient.

Discussion: Still represented only by the holotype ( Musser et al., 1998 a).
