Artbeschreibung: Ähnlich wie C. biennis , aber Stängel unten meist rot überlaufen, äussere Hüllblätter weiss berandet. Früchte in einen schlanken Schnabel ausgezogen, mit diesem 6-9 mm lang, Pappus weiss oder gelblich.
