Hind femur yellow, except darker at dorsal edge. Posterior face of hind femur with 7–8 peg-like short, sub-equal bristles, which arranged in very loose single row. Hind coxal lobe not obvious. Abdomen. Tergites and terminalia brown. Venter and Cercus yellowish brown. Body length 2.7 mm.
Distribution. China (Hainan).
Etymology. The specific epithet refers to loose arrangement pattern of the peg-like bristles on the posterior face of the hind femur.
Holotype: ♂, Hainan Province, Diaoluo (18°39'N, 109°54'E, 900m), 22-V-2004, Guang-Chun Liu.
Remarks. The species can be easily distinguished from other species of the genus by the arrangement pattern and the form of peg-like bristles of hind femur. In Disney’s key (1990a), it runs to couplet 13 to D. fijiensis Disney , but the peg-like bristles are totally different.
