Remarks.-

We tentatively identified this species to be close to E. angusticollis Chopard, 1969. The cricket was found among foliage and branches of understory trees. The key to Southeast Asian species was used for identification but this genus is likely to be paraphyletic and taxonomic work is needed ( Ingrisch 2006).
