Distribution.
Natural history.
In SK, one female was captured from maple ( Acer negundo ) litter and one from willow ( Salix spp.) leaf litter in June and October, respectively. In NB, Acrotona subpygmaea was found in litter of a variety of forest types and in wetlands including swamps, sphagnum bog, marshes and river margins. Specimens have also been taken from gilled mushroom and under bark ( Webster et al. 2016b). Most adults were collected in May, with a few in April, June, August, and September.
