Type material. Holotype ♂, CHINA: Xizang Autonomous Region, Nyingchi City , Mainling County (Dongshan) (29°30.589′N, 94°52.868′E), 2946 m a.s.l., 12 Sep 2013, leg. Panlong Wu. GoogleMaps Paratypes: 2♀ 6♂, same data as the holotype GoogleMaps ; 1♀, Xizang Autonomous Region, Nyingchi City , Mainling County, Pai Town , 9 Sep 2013, leg. Panlong Wu.

Etymology. The species name is derived from the type locality; adjective.

Diagnosis. The new species is similar to A. proxima (O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1871) , but the male can be distinguished by: 1) the membranous, narrow base of the median apophysis (vs sclerotized and wide); 2) the long RTA (vs short); and 3) the downward bending conductor (vs upward). The female can be distinguished from A. proxima by: 1) the wide septum (vs narrow); 2) the presence of two hoods on anterior septum (vs without hoods); and 3) the direction of the large copulatory openings, which are directed obliquely upwards.

Carapace fuscous, lighter medially than laterally; lateral fringe darker, cervical groove indistinct. Eye sizes and interdistances: ALE 0.08, PLE 0.07, PME 0.06, AME 0.04, AME–AME 0.03, AME–ALE 0.02, PME–PME 0.06, PME–PLE 0.05. MOA 0.21 long, 0.20 posterior wide, 0.10 anterior wide. Sternum yellow, margin fuscous, longer than wide. Legs fuscous; tibia I with 3 pairs of ventral spines, tibia II ventral with one prolateral spine and three retrolateral spines. Palp ( Figs 6 View FIGURE 6 D–F, 8A–B): palp light yellow, tegulum brown. RTA long, distally blackish; embolus with broad base, curved, with thin tip; conductor membranous, behind embolus; base of median apophysis membranous, narrow, tip hook-shaped. Tegulum wide, with faint sperm duct.

Female: Total length 2.87–3.26 (n=3). Paratype ( Figs 7 View FIGURE 7 A–C) total length 3.09, carapace 1.50 long, 1.23 wide; abdomen 1.59 long, 1.17 wide. Eye sizes and interdistances: ALE 0.08, PLE 0.08, PME 0.08, AME 0.04, AME– AME 0.04, AME–ALE 0.03; PME–PME 0.07, PME–PLE 0.07. MOA 0.23 long, 0.22 posterior wide, 0.12 anterior wide.
