Andaman Islands, Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Botswana, Brazil, Chagos Archipelago, Canada, China, Congo, Eastern Samoa, Guam, Hawaii, India, Indonesia, Iran Japan, Madagascar, Malaysia, Marianas Islands, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Singapore, Socotra, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, USA, Western Samoa, Zaire.

Remarks. First record from Saudi Arabia found in this study is by Büttiker et al. (1979).
