Etymology. The species is named after Shi Xiu, a character in the classic Chinese novel Outlaws of the Marsh; noun in apposition.

Diagnosis. Females of the new species are similar to R. yangren Lin & Li, 2022 and R. lamia Yu & Zhang, 2021 by having only 1 pair of spermathecae. However, the new species can be distinguished by the straight spermathecae (vs. curved in R. lamia ) and spermathecae 2 times longer than wide (vs. 4 times longer than wide in R. yangren ).

Description. Female (holotype). Total length 17.63, carapace 6.79 long, 5.77 wide, opisthosoma 10.77 long, 5.58 wide. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.11, ALE 0.29, PME 0.13, PLE 0.15, AME–AME 0.13, AME–ALE 0.08, PME–PME 0.40, PME–PLE 0.04, AME–PME 0.14, ALE–PLE 0.04. Chelicerae with 9 retromarginal teeth. Leg measurements: I 19.25 (4.94, 7.62, 3.59, 3.10), II 18.47 (4.68, 6.99, 3.75, 3.05), III 18.40 (4.49, 6.15, 4.68, 3.08), IV 24.04 (5.26, 8.21, 6.98, 3.59).

Coloration ( Fig. 24A View Figure 24 ). Chelicerae red-brown. Carapace, endites, labium and sternum yellowish brown. Legs yellowish brown with black setae. Opisthosoma oval, brown, without any pattern. Heart mark pale yellow, sword shaped. Four spinnerets, pale yellow.

Epigyne ( Fig. 21 View Figure 21 ). Spermathecae white, 5 times longer than wide, weakly sclerotized. Pore glands denser anteriorly, becoming less numerous proximally. Apices blunt, unexpanded. Spermathecae separated by their length.

Male. Unknown.

Material examined. Holotype ♀ (IZCAS-Ar44817), China: Guangxi, Guilin City, Lingui Dist., Huixian Town, Douyan , 15.VI.2023, Ming Yi leg. Paratype. 1♀ (IZCAS-Ar44818), same data as holotype .

Distribution. Known only from the type locality.
