Centraloecetes Just, 1983 , stat. nov.

Siphonoecetes (Centraloecetes) Just, 1983: 124 .

Type species. Siphonoecetes kroeyeranus Spence Bate, 1857 .

Diagnosis. Siphonoecetina with rostrum present. Flagellum of antenna 2 article 2 with 1, article 3 with 2 distal robust setae ( Fig. 2 E 1 ). Pereopods 5–6 carpus with 1 long and 1 short robust setae. Uropod 1 peduncle in male with bulbous, ventroapical projection ( Fig. 3 E 1 , ventral and lateral views). Inner ramus of uropods l and 2 broad, flattened, with 1-4 apical robust setae, not in hollowed apex. Uropod 3 peduncle with a row of long setae on distal margin ( Fig. 4 G 1 ).

Component species. Centraloecetes bulborostrum De-la-Ossa-Carretoro & Marti, 2014; C. dellavallei ( Stebbing, 1899) ; C. kroeyeranus ( Spence Bate, 1857) ; C. neapolitanus ( Schiecke, 1978) ; C. pallidus ( Sars, 1882) ; C. s triatus ( Myers & McGrath, 1979).
