Diagnosis. Wingspan ♂ 37–44 mm, ♀ 48–53 mm. This species is the largest of all Cyana species which occur in Cambodia. C. perornata differs from congeners by having the forewing of both sexes with dark edged crimson lines; one dark, elliptical discoidal spot; terminal line slightly paler red, zig-zag shaped; forewing of some males with dark or pale red band before apex; in male genitalia, valvae bowling pin-shaped, with more rectangular apex, upper angle of apex rounded, lower angle of apex angled; saccular process tapered, and curved to acute apex, almost the same length of valvae; vesica with scobination; in female genitalia, corpus bursae globular, with one large, elliptical and one small, rounded signa.

Distribution. Cambodia (Cardamom, Koh Kong, Samkos, Seima), N.E. Himalaya, Nepal, Sundaland (Borneo), Thailand, peninsular Malaysia, Vietnam, China.
Remarks. This species was reported from Cambodia by Bae et al. (2012).
