Genus Descampsiella nom. nov.

Remarks on nomenclatural change: Descamps (1964) described genus Perinetia with the type species Perinetia annulipes Descamps, 1964 in Orthoptera . This genus name was occupied. So Descamps & Wintrebert (1965) proposed the name Perinetella as an objective replacement name for Perinetia Descamps, 1964 . It is still used as a valid generic name. Unfortunately, the generic name was already preoccupied by Synave (1956), who erected the bug genus Perinetella with the type species Perinetella nigroflava Synave, 1956 in Hemiptera . It is still used as a valid genus name in the family Flatidae (e.g. Bisby et al., 2007). Thus, the genus group name Perinetella Descamps & Wintrebert, 1965 (Orthoptera) is invalid under the rule of homonymy, being a junior homonym of Perinetella Synave, 1956 (Hemiptera) . Under the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature (ICZN 1999) it must be rejected and replaced. The genus Perinetella Descamps & Wintrebert, 1965 does not have a synonym except the preoccupied Perinetia Descamps, 1964 . So I propose Descampsiella nom. nov. as a replacement name for Perinetella Descamps & Wintrebert, 1965 .

Etymology: The genus is named after the first author of Perinetella, M. Descamps.
