Clinopodium congestum (Boiss. & Hausskn.) Kuntze (1891: 515) View in CoL
≡ Micromeria congesta Boissier & Haussknecht View in CoL in Boissier (1879: 575)
Lectotype (designated by Davis 1982: 337):— TURKEY. In rupestribus calcareis montis Akdagh inter Adiyaman et Malatia , [1830 m, 12 ix 1865], Haussknecht s.n. ( G-BOIS!, isolectotype BM000950391 !, G00435663 !, G-BOIS!, JE!, K!, P 00714525 !, P 00714526 !, W 0027353 !, W-Rchb. 1889-0039118!).
Nomenclatural notes:—Boissier´s types are largely kept at G, but in case this is not considered sufficient, Davis reference to a holotype is to be understood as effective typification. There are two duplicates at G-BOIS, only one of which is annotated by Davis and has the label information as cited by him and thus represents the lectotype (Davis simply cited G in which G-BOIS is incorporated).
