Type species— Paracleodoxus cineraceus Monné & Monné, 2010 (original designation).

Diagnosis. Body flattened; antennae filiform, longer than body in both sexes; prothorax flattened, sides with tubercle at posterior third; elytra flattened, with centrobasal crest and lateral carinae; elytral apex rounded; femora pedunculate-clavate. Number of species currently included: 2.
