Type species — Tomorgersia acanthofemorata Fragoso, 1980 (original designation).

Diagnosis. Scape with minute internal projection at apex; profemora in males dilated, more developed than meso- and metafemora, which are subclavate; female without modifications; lateral tubercles of the prothorax placed at middle or slightly after middle; basal metatarsomere shorter than the two following together. Number of species currently included: 2.
