Psyrassa pertenuis (Casey, 1924) View in CoL ; Elaphidiini [new state record]

Distribution: NY to FL to eastern TX to KY, with most records from the Atlantic coastal plain; also recorded from Puerto Rico. Kentucky records are scattered across the central portion of the state (Map 153).

Collection methods: Light (2); reared from Cercis (2)

Larval host plants: Carya , Conocarpus erectus , Magnolia grandiflora and Prunus ( Monné & Nearns 2022c)

Comments: Attracted to lights. It is interesting that two Kentucky specimens were reared from Cercis , which is not a published host.
