Distribution: Southern PQ to northern FL to southeastern TX to MN and west to southeastern AB. Most Kentucky records are from the eastern half of the state (Map 037).

Comments: Attracted to fermenting sugar and occasionally to lights, A commonly collected spring species most often seen in April and May in Kentucky where they can be collected on early blooming trees and shrubs ( Bousquet et al. 2017).
