Distribution: ME to NC to eastern TX to WI. The few Kentucky specimens were taken in the central third of the state ( Interior Plateau ; Map 029).

Adult flower hosts: Amelanchier , Ceanothus , Cornus , Daucus , Prunus and Viburnum ( Bousquet et al. 2017)

Comments: Callimoxys species are typically collected on flowers.
