Distribution: NB to northern GA to northeastern TX to MN. Kentucky collections are all from two northeastern counties (Western Allegheny Plateau; Map 023).

Collection methods: Flowers: Aruncus (4); Castanea (3); Viburnum (1), Rubus (1); daisy (1)

Larval host plants: Betula , Heracleum lanatum , Picea ( Monné & Nearns 2022b) and possibly Pinus ( Lingafelter 2007)

Adult flower hosts: Achillea , Ceanothus , Cornus , Spiraea and Viburnum ( Monné & Nearns 2022b)

Comments: Adults are diurnal and often found on flowers.
