TYPE LOCALITY: Senegal .

DISTRIBUTION: Senegal to Ethiopia, south to South Africa and Angola; perhaps Namibia.

STATUS: CITES - Appendix II.

SYNONYMS: acaciarum , albipes, braccatus , calago, dunni, galago , geoffroyi , intontoi, pupulus , sennariensis , sotikae, teng .

COMMENTS: Hill and Meester (1977:2) included granti in this species; but see Smithers and Wilson (1979).
