Theridioids are supported by several unambiguous synapomorphies, including: reduced number of epiandrous gland spigots (170, Figs 14F, G View Figure 14 , 22F View Figure 22 ), exactly two colular setae (175, Fig. 9D View Figure 9 , reversed to three or more in latrodectines, Fig. 55H View Figure 55 ), lobed PLS AG glands (217), cobweb (225, Figs 96D–F View Figure 96 , 99A, B View Figure 99 , 100A–F View Figure 100 , 101A–F View Figure 101 ), and sticky silk on gumfoot lines (227, Figs 96F View Figure 96 , 97B–D View Figure 97 , 101B, D View Figure 101 ).
