Episcythrastis tabidella ( Mann, 1864) **

MATERIAL EXAMINED. 2 Ƌ, W env. of Luga, 30.vii.2012, 24.vii.2015.

REMARKS. A local population of this southern species was found in Luga polygon ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ). Two males were attracted to light. Their appearance ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 ) doesn’t seem to be different from the appearance of imagoes from the south of Russia.

DISTRIBUTION. The southern areas of Europe, middle belt of Europe (locally), Caucasus, Turkey, Central Asia ( Sinev 1986; Karsholt & Razowski 1996; Aarvik et al. 2017; Koçak & Kemal 2018; Sinev et al. 2019).
