Material examined. Chile (V, VII, VIII, IX Regions) ( MHNG, NHMB).
Description of adult by Burckhardt & Lauterer (1989) and of immature by Burckhardt & Basset (2000). Distribution. Chile (V, VII –IX Regions) ( Burckhardt & Lauterer 1989; Burckhardt & Basset 2000). Host plants. Schinus montana (Philippi) Engler , S. patagonica (Philippi) Johnston ( Anacardiaceae ). A series of adults was collected on S. polygama which may be accidental. Inducing irregular leaf roll galls.
