Notes.
Psychopterys comprises nine currently accepted species (five threatened species; Suppl. material 1) of lianas endemic to seasonally dry tropical forests of Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua, Central and North America ( Pool 2023; POWO 2024).
