Distribution. India, Pakistan, Nepal.
Remarks. The species was described by Pruthi (1936) and later transferred from Deltocephalus to Jilinga by Webb & Heller (1990). Recently, Xing et al. (2012) reillustrated the male genitilia. It can be distinguished by the following combination of features: anal tube appendages with distal margins serrate; subgenital plate broad basally and abruptly narrowed then tapered gradually; apophysis of style transverse and much wider; aedeagus shaft widened, with approximately seven asymmetrical teeth on lateral margin.
