Hydroides glandiferum Rioja, 1941: 172–174 View in CoL , pl. 4, figs. 10–14. Type locality: Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico (type specimens lost).

Hydroides glandifer .— Bastida-Zavala and ten Hove, 2003b: 89, figs. 12A–M (revision of the genus from Eastern Pacific).

Material examined. One specimen: Oaxaca ( Mexico), UMAR-Poly 66 (15º51’N, 97º04’W, Puerto Escondido, on Spondylus calcifer , M14, 6– 10 m, July 4, 2004, coll. SS) GoogleMaps .

Diagnosis. For a revised description see Bastida-Zavala and ten Hove (2003b).

Habitat. Depth: 4– 17 m. On dead coral Pocillopora and on spiny oyster Spondylus calcifer .

Distribution. Tropical Eastern Pacific. Baja California Sur to Oaxaca ( Mexico) ( Bastida-Zavala & ten Hove 2003b).
