Material examined. Twenty-seven specimens: California ( USA), SERC s.v., 27 spec. (approx. 37º46‘N, 122º23‘W, San Francisco and, approx. 32º43’N, 117º13’W, San Diego, PVC fouling plates, 1999–2002) GoogleMaps .

Diagnosis. For a revised description see Bastida-Zavala and ten Hove (2003b).

Habitat. Depth: 0– 5 m. On rocks and gastropod shells, also found in aquaculture tanks.

Distribution. Temperate Eastern Pacific. California ( USA) to Baja California Sur ( Mexico) ( Bastida-Zavala & ten Hove 2003b).
