Material examined. Two specimens: Baja California Sur ( Mexico), UMAR-Poly 71, 2 spec. (24º13’10”N, 110º18’38”W, PEMEX pier, Bahia de La Paz, epifauna of Eucidaris , June 16, 1991, coll. F. Solís, R. Ramírez & JRBZ) GoogleMaps .

Diagnosis. For a revised description see Bastida-Zavala and ten Hove (2003b).

Habitat. Depth: 0–17 m. On dead corals, in rock pools and on sea urchin spines of Eucidaris .

Distribution. Tropical Eastern Pacific. Baja California ( Mexico) to Panama ( Bastida-Zavala & ten Hove 2003b).
