Subquadrate, approximately 1.1 times as wide as long, widest across eyes, narrower than pronotum; eyes large and slightly prominent, about 1.3 times as long as temples; gular sutures moderately separated, diverged basally; infraorbital carina complete. Antennae (2A) slightly longer than head and pronotum combined; antennomeres 1–3 elongate, 4–10 quadrate to subquadrate, 11 longest, about as long as preceding two combined. Thorax. Pronotum approximately 1.3–1.4 times as wide as long, widest at middle; hypomera fully visible in lateral aspect. Elytra slightly wider than pronotum; elytron approximately 1.6 times as long as wide, postero-lateral margin almost straight. Abdomen. (D.) nigra , but can be distinguished by the characters provided in the key and different shape and structure of aedeagus. This species was recorded by Paśnik (2001) in North Korea and is recorded here for the first time in South Korea.
