Type material.

NHMUK 1975171, eight syntypes (Cuming coll.).

Remarks.

The dimensions of the specimen figured herein have been taken from the largest specimen found in the lot.

Current systematic position.

Bothriembryontidae, Plectostylus punctulifer (Sowerby I, 1833).
