Genus Sergyessa Shcherbakov, Perkovsky, Sylvestersen & Anisyutkin , gen. nov.
Type species— Sergyessa rusti Shcherbakov, Perkovsky, Sylvestersen & Anisyutkin , sp. nov. (by the present designation).
Diagnosis. Forewing with ScP ending at 3/4 of the wing’s length. R with long anterior branches, with the first split occurring at approximately 2/3 of the wing’s length. CuA internally pectinate. CuP sigmoidal. PCu long, ending in wing’s membrane. V1 is 2.7 times longer than V2, sigmoidal.
Stratigraphic range. Ypresian, lowermost Eocene.
Geographic range. Fur Formation, Denmark.
Composition. Monotypic.
Etymology. In honour of entomologist Sergey Yu. Storozhenko and in reference to the genus Chaeteessa Burmeister, 1838 . Gender feminine.
