Diagnosis. Mesoscutal sidelobe with transverse carinae. Mesoscutellar disc areolate. Axillula areolate. Fore femur with some brown coloration.

It is similar to other species with an areolate axillula, differing from the others in having transverse carinae on the mesoscutal sidelobe ( Fig. 24 View FIGURES 21–26 ).

Description. Female. Length 3.0– 3.9 mm.

Color: Head and mesosoma blue green, becoming darker ventrally. Pedicel pale brown; anellus pale brown; flagellum brown. Coxae brown dorsally, becoming yellow apically; fore femur mostly brown, tips pale; mid and hind femora yellow. Fore wing hyaline; venation yellowish brown. Petiole green; gaster brown with purple luster.

Head: Head width:head height 1.0–1.2; face mostly reticulate, becoming smooth ventrally; longitudinal groove between eye and torulus absent; eyes bare, inter-ocular distance:eye height 1.5–1.7; malar space:eye height 0.6–0.8; supraclypeal area longer than broad, smooth ventrally, weakly sculptured dorsally; clypeus smooth.

Flagellum length:head height 1.6–1.8; F2 3.0–3.3× as long as broad, 1.2–1.4× as long as F3; following funiculars progressively shorter and broader.

Mesosoma: Mesosoma length:height 1.2–1.4. Mesoscutal midlobe areolate-reticulate anteriorly, areolate posteriorly, with minute setae; lateral lobe areolate-reticulate to nearly smooth, but always with some transverse carinae. Axilla areolate-reticulate; mesoscutellar disc areolate; frenal line irregularly foveate; frenum areolatereticulate; axillular groove indicated by a strong longitudinal carina; axillula areolate. Propodeum with irregular median carina; propodeal disc areolate; callus areolate-reticulate, with 3–5 setae. Mesepisternum reticulate laterally, becoming areolate-reticulate to smooth ventrally, broadly rounded anterior to mid coxa. Upper mesepimeron smooth to weakly sculptured; lower mesepimeron reticulate to areolate-reticulate; transepimeral sulcus distinct. Metepisternum laterally mostly smooth, weakly sculptured peripherally. Hind coxa 2.1–2.5× as long as broad; hind femur 5.7–7.1× as long as broad. Fore wing 2.7–3.1× as long as broad, 2.6–3.1× as long as mesothorax; stigma with 4 sensilla separated into pairs. Hind wing costal cell with a broad bare area.

Metasoma: Petiole 2.6–3.2× as long as broad, 1.0–1.1× as long as hind coxa, areolate, anterior carina strong. Antecostal sulcus crossed by carinae; acrosternite posteriorly rounded.

Male. Length 2.4–3.0 mm. Head width:head height 1.1–1.3; scape yellow; flagellum length:head height 1.9– 2.3, F2 2.4–3.3× as long as broad. Fore femur yellow; fore tibia yellow; mid femur yellow; mid tibia yellow; hind femur yellow. hind tibia yellow. Petiole 5.6–7.6× as long as broad, petiole length:hind coxa length 1.6–1.9.

Distribution. Colombia, Ecuador, Peru.
