Diagnosis.
A genus of Asian frogs of the subfamily Occidozyginae Fei, Ye, and Huang, 1990 of the family Dicroglossidae Anderson, 1871, that differs from all other genera of its subfamily by having the following combination of characters: (1); tongue slender, worm-like; (2) vomerine teeth absent; (3) tips of fingers and toes pointed; (4) tympanum hidden; (5) skin not covered by extensive mucous, feels dry to touch in life frogs; (6) throat lining whitish with longitudinal brown stripe; (7) life style fully aquatic; (8) amplexus axillary.
