Notes: Erysiphe diffusa (sect. Microsphaera ) on Lespedeza spp. is known from Canada, USA and Russia (Farr & Rossman n.d.). This is the second Asian record of this fungus on Lespedeza . In South Korea, Shin (2000) recorded Erysiphe lespedezae (sect. Erysiphe ) on Lespedeza species.

Notes: Previously, this fungus was only known from the Russian Far East ( Braun & Cook 2012). The specimens cited here are the first specimens recorded from Korea, and the second recorded in Asia and the world.
