Usually referred to as Paxyllomatinae (e.g. Fitton 1978, Mason 1981, Yu and Horstmann 1997), but Hybrizontinae has priority ( Wharton and Achterberg 2000). Distribution data from Donisthorpe (1927), Achterberg (1999) and the collections of BMNH and NMS.
