Lectotype (Al-Shehbaz in Cafferty & Jarvis in Taxon 51: 531. 2002): [icon] " Sisymbrium palustre album foliis imis Barbareae reliquis integris" in Haller, Opusc. Bot.: 152, unnumbered plate. 1749. - Epitype (Al-Shehbaz in Cafferty & Jarvis in Taxon 51: 531. 2002): Herb. Linn. No. 842.11 ( LINN) .

Current name: Arabidopsis halleri (L.) View in CoL View at ENA O’Kane & Al-Shehbaz ( Brassicaceae ).

Note: O’Kane & Al-Shehbaz (in Novon 7: 325. 1997) incorrectly indicated Herb. Linn. No. 842.11 ( LINN) as the holotype. However, the material is unannotated by Linnaeus and cannot be considered original material for the name. Al-Shehbaz subsequently rejected this choice, designating a Haller illustration as lectotype in its place, with the LINN sheet as epitype.
