REMARKS

Tomasovic (2002a) mentioned the occurrence of Cerotainia in French Guiana, without information on species name or collecting site (specimens not examined).

One morphospecies of Cerotainia ( Fig. 4G View FIG ) has been found in Mitaraka (material examined: 1 ♂, Mitaraka/115, INPA; 1♂, Mitaraka/188, MNHN; 1♂, Mitaraka/230, INPA; 2♀, Mitaraka/230, MNHN).
