Remarks
This species is newly recorded from Palawan. The shape of the uncus of Pomponia similis Schmidt, 1924 from Sumatra illustrated by Moulton and China (1926) is very
similar to that of Pomponia lactea . Their taxonomic status and possible synonymies will be discussed separately in a future paper.
