Type material
Holotype, male. Madagascar [without exact locality] ( MNHN).
Diagnosis
It differs from other Madecorphnus species in having characteristic shape of the parameres ( Figure 16 View Figures 1–19 ) and armature of internal sac of the aedeagus consisting of two large semicircular sclerites, one short spur-like sclerite and numerous small spinules ( Figure 27 View Figures 20–30 ).
