Distribution.

Species known only from the original paper from Abkhazia, where only one specimen was collected on the bank of a stream in 2000 m a.s.l. ( Ježek 1988 as Telmatoscopus ).

Note.

First record since the original description. First record for Georgia, a territory other than Abkhazia. An extremely rare species known from only two sites in Greater Caucasus.
