Distribution. Europe: Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Russia (centre of European part). Middle Asia: Kyrgyzstan.
Remarks. This species of the R. (H.) nigripennis group is recorded for the first time from Estonia. In addition, R. (H.) caliginosa represents the first record of R. ( Holoclera ) from Middle Asia ( Kyrgyzstan).
