Lectotype (Stearn in Israel J. Bot. 19: 266, f. 1. 1970): Herb. Hermann 5: 461, No. 401 [icon] ( BM) .

Note: In typifying the name, Stearn also argued for its rejection as a nomen ambiguum under (the then) Art. 71. However, no formal proposal for rejection appears to have been made.
