Culexisoma ginowan (Naruse & Komai, 2009) View in CoL n. comb.
Halicarcinus ginowan Naruse & Komai, 2009: 176 View in CoL –180, figs 1–3.
Material examined. Holotype. Japan. Ryukyu Islands, small fishing port near Ginowan Marina, Okinawa I., 2–3 m, 18 March 2006, coll. T. Komai, NSMT-Cr 19742 (male, 2.1 mm).
Other material. Ryukyu Islands, Miyako I., Port Hirara, 22 May 2009, coll. T. Maenosono, RUMF-ZC-1536 (1 male, 3.5 mm).
Distribution. Japan, Okinawa and Miyako islands in the Ryukyu Archipelago, subtidal (2–3 m).
Remarks. One additional male is added to the one on which the species was based. Naruse & Komai (2009) incorrectly depicted a 6-segmented male pleon but re-examination of a male specimen (RUMF-ZC-1536) confirms that it is actually 5-segmented, with pleomeres 3 and 4 fused as in C. niugini .
