Tolpia crispus Fibiger, new species

Material examined.
Holotype: male, Malaysia, [Borneo], Sabah, 1 km S Kundasang , 1530 m, 23.viii.1983, leg. G. F. Hevel and W. E. Steiner. Coll. SMNK.
Paratypes: 2 males with same data as holotype, but one 27.viii.1983, the other genit. prep. 5633 M. Fibiger. Colls. MF, SMNK .
Diagnosis.
Wingspan: 17 mm.
Transverse lines: brown, indistinct; basal, antemedial, postmedial, and subterminal lines well marked, with a black spot by costa; terminal line marked by black, elongated dots.
Reniform: elongated, brown.
Hindwing: brown.
Underside: unicolorous brown.
Abdomen: brown with long anal tuft.
Male genitalia.
Saccus: short, pointed.
Vinculum: short.
Tegumen: extremely long.
Fultura superior: fused with tegumen by a triangular process on left side.
Tergite and sternite: indistinct.
Costa: almost straight, without processes.
Sacculus: inconspicuous.
Editum: finger-like, setose; positioned dorsal to sacculus on inner wall of valve.
Ampulla: slightly asymmetrical; sickle-like/shrimp-like, apically smoothly rounded; a small at base ventrally. Pollex : small, apically rounded, with long hair-like setae.
Digitus: slightly asymmetrical; on both sides long, narrow, curved, pointed apically.
Tegumen: extremely long.
Fultura superior: fused with tegumen by a triangular process on left side.
Phallus: extremely long and extremely narrow; broadest by ductus ejaculatorius; slightly tapered and curving towards apex; coecum very long and pointed.
Differential diagnosis.
T. crispus differs from the other species in the genus by most of the male genitalia characters listed above.
