Material examined.

Holotype (fig. 1): male, Malaysia, Borneo , Sarawak, Semongok, 18 km S Kuching, 12.xii.1974, leg. A. Earnshaw, genit. prep. 5791 M. Fibiger. Coll. CNC.

Paratypes: 2 males: with same data as holotype, but genit. preps. 5792 M. Fibiger and 5793 M. Fibiger. Coll. BMNH, MF .

Diagnosis.

Wingspan: 13–14 mm.

Transverse lines: brown; basal, antemedial, postmedial, and subterminal lines well marked by a black spot by costa; terminal line marked by black elongated dots.

Reniform: elongated, brown.

Hindwing: grey-brown.

Underside: unicolorous brown.

Abdomen: brown with long anal tuft.

Male genitalia.

Saccus: short, rounded.

Vinculum: short.

Tegumen: long.

Tergite and sternite: indistinct.

Costa: almost straight, apically with free, narrow extension; valve broadest by costal extension.

Sacculus: narrow, inconspicuous.

Ampulla: slightly asymmetrical; club-like, apically smoothly rounded, basally on left side with a small dorsal hump.

Pollex : small and apically rounded, with long hair-like setae.

Digitus: prominently asymmetrical; on both sides relatively short, narrow, bent, pointed apically.

Juxta: with a prominent ventral mushroom-like process; higher than wide.

Anellus: fused with juxta.

Phallus: extremely long and narrow, broadest by ductus ejaculatorius; medially with swelling, slightly tapered outwards; smoothly coiling at 2/3; coecum relatively long and pointed.

Differences from T. sarawakia and T. parasarawakia are listed above under T. sarawakia .
