Remarks
This family has been used to accommodate tubuliporine cyclostomes with simple gonozooids, typically pyriform or ovoidal, having terminal, cylindrical ooeciopores. It encompasses both encrusting (e.g. Oncousoecia , Microeciella ) and erect (e.g. Filisparsa d’Orbigny, 1853 ) genera.
