Nigma puella (Simon, 1870)

Distribution

Species typical of the western Palaearctic, frequent in Europe and the Macaronesian area. It has already been reported for several localities in Portugal, including in the District of Beja ( Barrientos et al. 2020). It is usually associated with shrubs of a certain size, where it forms abundant populations; herbaceous areas are not a suitable habitat for it ( van de Putte 2018).
