Lectotype (Miller in Jarvis & al., Regnum Veg. 127: 72. 1993): Herb. Linn. No. 1116.1 ( LINN) .

Generitype of Osyris Linnaeus.

Current name: Osyris alba L. View in CoL View at ENA ( Santalaceae ).

Note: Although Stauffer (in Mitt. Bot. Mus. Univ. Zürich 217: 314. 1961) indicated that the type was in LINN, he did not distinguish between the two collections there (which are not part of a single gathering so Art. 9.15 does not apply).
